IMFORMATION MANAGEMENT BIM: ISO 19650
Information is central to everything you do. Poor information is the root cause of many of the problems you face and now there’s more of it than ever. Building Information Modelling (BIM) provides a structured approach to improve your performance, helping to reduce cost, improve efficiency and avoid expensive errors and overruns.
The five-part 19650 series provides a guide to the organisation and digitisation of information about buildings and civil engineering works, including building information modelling (BIM) – Information management using building information modelling.
The standards are designed to be applicable to any built asset, covering the full life cycle from initial planning to final repair and end of life. They are also intended to be adaptable to projects of any level of scale and complexity, helping businesses to select proportionate strategies for areas such as procurement, in order to achieve maximum efficiency.
Building information modelling applies to the whole life cycle of a built asset, including strategic planning, initial design, engineering, development, documentation and construction, day-to-day operation, maintenance, refurbishment, repair, and end-of-life. The requirements for Information Management according to ISO 19650 will apply to those involved in:
- The procurement, design, construction and/or commissioning of built assets
- Delivering asset management activities, including operations and maintenance
UKCA Marking – UK Conformity Assessment
You need to comply with new requirements for goods supplied or sold in the UK.
Following its exit from the European Union, arrangements and requirements have changed significantly in the UK.
United Kingdom Conformity Assessment (UKCA) has replaced CE Marking for products traded in Great Britain, with special arrangements for Northern Ireland (UKNI).
Requirements came into force 01 January 2021 and are effective in stages, so the details of UKCA now in place will continue to change with new legislation to be introduced in 2023 / 2024.
We will provide support now and as UKCA requirements change in future years, ensuring you avoid the risk of failing to meet these changing requirements, with advice and systems for:

- Authorised Representatives (UK-based)

- Certification by an Approved Body
- Converting technical assessments from ETA to UKTA

CE Marking – European Conformity

ISO 44001 specifies requirements for the effective identification, development and management of Collaborative Business Relationships within or between organisations.

It is particularly relevant to organisations in long term contracts in areas such as construction, transportation, defence, facilities management and asset management.
